A very fine, smooth textured ash made from natural material of diatomaceous earth (or kieselguhr). Incense burns out from end to end, no hard incense residue remains in the ashes, making it easy to clean.
Actually, I burn incense daily at home and am very happy with the product, highly recommended!

The Higonokami, a traditional Japanese pocket knife made of blue paper steel using the Sanmai method of blade construction. Following in the tradition, each of these knives were hand-forged by Japanese craftsmen. The style of the knife is characterized by a protruding cranked lever, a sharp blade, a rustic look with the traces of processing still visible and a simple mechanism with minimal elements.
"RYUBU" and "PAPILIO", are a remarkable masterpiece featuring each of dragon and butterfly motif created in collaboration with popular Japanese gothic designer Chie.

A realistic miniature of Mt. Fuji rises in the base of the glass and tints beautifully according to the color of the beverage poured into it. Each glass is handmade by skilled craftsmen using the blown glass technique.
Edo glass is considered a traditional Japanese craft.

Traditional side handled Teapot "kyusu" of Banko-yaki ware from Yokkaichi, Mie prefecture.
Banko-yaki is one of Japan's most beautiful traditional ceramic techniques. The tradition dates back to the 18th century when the merchant Rouzan famously placed a seal with the words bankofueki, or "eternity, constancy" on earthenware made in the town of Yokkaichi. With their unique heat resistance and beautiful, almost primitive composition, he hoped they would become the kind of objects that would be handed down through the generations. The sentiment stuck; today, it is estimated that 70-80% of Japan's earthenware is produced in Yokkaichi.

I visited the gift show held in Tokyo in March.
The venue was much smaller than before, probably still a bit affected by the Corona crisis.
For the past few years, I have only had online business meetings with vendors. So, I was very happy to see them again at the booth, and it was great to be able to talk to each of them face to face in real life and catch up on the latest information.

New: Japanese Teapot - Tokoname ware
The traditional Japanese teapot "kyusu" handmade by the famed Studio in Tokoname (Aichi prefecture).
With a built-in ceramic strainer.
Material of the natural clay (Japanese: Shudei 朱泥) from Tokoname region has particularly enriched with natural iron-oxide.
* It is said that any astringency and bitterness found in Japanese green teas are adjusted by the reaction of the iron contained in Tokoname ware's red mud with the tannin of the tea, resulting in a delicious and mellow taste.
