MUG cup "ume usagi" - plum, rabbit -

Arita ware

Mug with a Japanese plum blossoms motif in blue ground. Specially, the handles are decorated with rabbit eyes and ears.

The blue background is painted with a thick brush using a technique known as 'dami'. The shades of blue effectively give the mug character and make it less monotonous.

The soft texture of the Arita porcelain, the natural shape that fits comfortably in the hand. Lovely motifs and vibrant colours are painted with a brush on white Arita-porcelain and covered with a glossy glaze. (Handpainting unique item, the colour degree varies from piece to piece).

MUG Henkelbecher "ume usagi" - Pflaume und Hase -

Henkelbecher mit japanischem Pflaumenblütenmotiv auf blauem Grund. Der Henkel ist speziell mit Hasenaugen und -ohren verziert.

Der blaue hintergrund ist mit einem dicken Pinsel in einer Technik gemalt, die als "Dami" bekannt ist. Die Blautöne verleihen der Tasse wirkungsvoll Charakter und machen sie weniger eintönig.

Die weiche Textur des Arita-Porzellans und seine natürliche Form liegen gut in der Hand. Schöne Motive und Farben werden mit einem Pinsel auf weißes Arita-Porzellan gemalt und mit einer glänzenden Glasur überzogen. (Aufgrund der Handbemalung kann die Farbgebung von Stück zu Stück variieren).
