ISA MONYO (Isa textile patterns):
was originally designed by Kunio Isa, the Japanese traditional stencil printing artist.
Since 1945, Isa-Monyo Institute has been founded and creating more than 3000 patterns and designs for stencil dyeing. Many of his works are unique, still modern and have been printed on many products
as well as just being as piece of art in modern times.
Isa Monyo wurde ursprünglich von Kunio Isa entworfen, einer der einflussreichsten traditionellen Schablonendruck Künstler. Er hat seit den 1940er Jahren mehr als dreitausend Design Schablonen hergestellt, die heute im Isa Research Institute in Japan erhalten werden. Viele seiner Werke sind einzigartig und doch modern und wurden auf zahlreichen Produkten aufgedruckt oder sind auch als eigenständige Kunst zu finden.
