Beautiful and impressive shades of blue

This product is created using a technique called "sometsuke" that painted under the glaze. Sometsuke tableware has been worldwide popular as “Blue and White”. Traditional but unique sometsuke tableware will color into our life.

 

Denpei's unique sometsuke plate consists of three tiny flower-shaped plate of different sizes and colors each. It has beautiful contrast of blue and white, a gentle gradation like watercolor painting. In addition, by arranging and combining several plates side by side, to form a large one (see 1st picture above). Create various hospitality scenes depending on your ideas!

Denpei Kiln (伝平窯) is a producer of high quality Japanese porcelain that established around the later of Edo period in Saga, Japan. It is located in the hills of Arita where they operates their unique own tunnel kiln.
