The atelier is specializing in painting Kutani ware performed by female artisans and is known for its delicate handwork. Kutani-ware uses a brush for painting with Japanese colouring paints, as you can see the painted cats are slightly thickened and standing out. The white glaze on the ash-gray base even more adds warmth and uniqueness to the teacup. (The degree of white glaze flow varies from piece to piece, please understand in advance.)
The soft texture of the pottery, the beautiful contrast between gray and white, and the natural shape that fits comfortably in the hand. This teacup is a perfect way to enjoy Japanese artisan's crafts in your teatime.

Der Atelier Kutani Iroe Yu ist auf die Bemalung von Kutani-Waren spezialisiert, die von Kunsthandwerkerinnen ausgeführt wird, und ist für seine feine Handarbeit bekannt. Kutani-Ware verwendet japanischen Farbstoff mit Pinsel zum Bemalen, wie Sie sehen können, sind der bemalte Motiv leicht verdickt und erheben. Die weiße Glasur auf dem grauen Teeschale verleiht ihr Wärme und Einzigartigkeit. (Der weiße Glasurverlauf variiert von Stück zu Stück.)
