Quick guide of naming:
There are several different types of tea pots and cups made in Japan.
Wafuu-honpo calls traditional Japanese Kyūsu with straight side handles "Kyūsu-Teapot", and kettle style pots with a handle on the top "Dobin-Teapot", short cups "sencha-cup", tall cups "yunomi-cup", and big matcha cups "Matcha tea bowl".
Sencha-cups are often used with saucers at formal occasions. However, these rules are not always followed. Nowadays, people's preferences have become more diverse. Some people use mug cups or
bigger sizes of sencha cups for green tea these days.
We at wafuu-honpo Tea selected contemporary Japanese tea cups, which can create Japanese style on your table with modern looks.
