The local toy in the Aizu region of Fukushima Prefecture with the legendary red cow as a motif.

"Shishi (獅子)" is an imaginary creature that looks like a lion. It is believed to have the power to get rid of evil and plague.
In Japan, shishi statues were placed in front of shrines, paired with komainu (guardian dogs) to ward off evil.
Each piece is uniquely handcrafted in great detail by a dedicated artisan of Kutani ware, making a lively expression, vibrant colours and powerful appeal.

The capacity is approximately 80 ml and the height is 7,5 cm, a small type of soy sauce dispenser. The name of "Kawasemi" means a Kingfisher in Japanese, and it has traditional karakusa-arabesque pattern in different four colours.
