Beautiful, traditional design KUTANI pattern on the inside of every glass drawn by hand by a skilled craftsman. You put liquid into this glass and can enjoy aesthntic pattern through the liquid. This glass is nice as an art, a gift but of course for daily use.

As you see pictures on above, colors change dramatically after firing,

this is a feature of the painting of KUTANI porcelain. It is difficult task to find out how different color will be changed.

Therefore, only skilled KUTANI painter paints over glazed decoration.

- The pattern of every glass is due to hand drawing slightly different.

- Wash gently by using a cloth or soft sponge, don't use a nylon scrub brush.

- Not suitable for dishwasher and microwave oven.

"Yoshidaya-style" is one of the traditional pattern of KUTANI, which is drawn a landscape,

flowers and birds by using four colors blue, yellow, purple and green without red.

Yellow is often used as a background.

ISHIDATAMI means stone pavement in Japanese.

The design inspired by the stone patterns is one of the Ko-Kutani designs.

This Ishidatami design is such great that it has been popular for the past 350 years and

a lot of Kutani pottery artists still use as a base pattern for their craft work.
